Cos-Play
I took these photos while standing in front of one of the few churches in Beijing. The girls just showed up in the garden and started posing. The whole thing was so unexpected, i hardly had enough time to frame my photos. The few examples which i posted are the best ones i could do.
I was told it was very typical for teenagers in Beijing to dress up like cartoon characters and play in the streets. Apparently it is called “Cos-Play” and is something that the Chinese got from the Japanese. So bizarre…
